# Codex Quick Start

## Setup

1. Create a dedicated Codex task or workspace for the business.
2. Add the current Business Context Pack and only approved source material.
3. Keep personal work, customer records, and unrelated repositories separate.
4. State the role, objective, inputs, output fields, quality checks, and approval point.
5. Start with fictional, anonymized, or low-risk material.
6. Save the corrected approved result as a named, versioned artifact.
7. Hand off only that approved artifact and version to the next role.

## Test

Use the Research Agent test with labeled fictional notes. Require source-linked
evidence, separate interpretation from fact, identify missing information, and
stop rather than inventing support. Compare the result with a manual reading
before adding more roles or tools.

## Safety

Do not grant repository, shell, browser, or external-service access beyond what
the task requires. Review proposed file changes before applying them. Do not
connect customer communication or consequential automation during the first test.

Codex capabilities, workspace controls, model access, and product limits can
change. Confirm the current product guidance before relying on a capability.
